NSDD Details

What is NSDD?
NSDD stands for Nu Sinh Duyen Dang, roughly translated as “Charming Female Student,” and is the title awarded to the most well-rounded single female in the Chicagoland area during an annual event hosted by the Illinois Vietnamese Student Union. The purpose of this event is to recognize not only the beauty but also achievements of young Vietnamese-American females. At the same time, it serves as a community-building event, an opportunity for local organizations to collaborate with one another, and an exhibition of Vietnamese-American heritage and culture. By hosting this event, we hope to promote higher-education among the youth and encourage young Vietnamese-American women to take pride in their accomplishments. This year is the third time our student organization will be hosting the event, and we hope that you will show your support.
